Our contented heirloom hens lay lots of delicious eggs because they're happy and healthy. We keep their bellies full of the finest feed including corn, soy, flaxseed meal and limestone plus vitamins and minerals. This all-natural grain is free of by-products, hormones and antibiotics.
Hens are very social creatures. We give them the run of our spacious cage-free barns where they can congregate in contented cackling groups. In good weather, they scratch around outside in our winter gardens. At night, they roost together on roomy perches.
Clean, well-ventilated barns are essential to maintaining our hens' health and productivity. We continually monitor our barns for cleanliness, ventilation, temperature, lighting and waste removal. |
